Mauricio Valenzuela

CEO Interval Cycling

Mauricio Valenzuela is the CEO of Interval Cycling. Mauricio is Professor of Physical Education at the Silva Enríquez Catholic University, and has also trained in the area of cycling and martial arts as well. He is a multiple athlete.

In his university days, he has prepared and competed, winning prizes in university aerobic gymnastics at the national level and then in all stages up to adulthood, also achieving 5th place in a South American event.

In the nineties he began his stage as a physical trainer in Chilean soccer, starting in the second division until reaching first division teams such as Cobreloa and Wanderers, to name a few. He had an internship at Inter Milan during the Lippi era, where he shared time with the illustrious Ivan Zamorano and other world stars, where he later also went through Racing Santander.

His arrival in the world of cycling occurred when a Mountain Bike team arrived at his gym requesting training, and from there he trained several runners until he created his own program.

Since 2013 he has dedicated himself to training professionals in the Indoor specialization, as well as training both mountain and road cyclists throughout Chile, in Colombia and in other Latin American countries.
