Nelson Gómez

CEO Danzika

Nelson Gomez is an international exhibitor with more than 35 years of fitness experience. Born in Bogotá, Colombia, he graduated in physical culture and sports from the Universidad Santo Tomas in 1993. He was part of the IDRD's Recreovía program team from 1993 to 2000, participating in the Guinness Record IDRD 1998 Parque Simon Bolivar.

His work histories include 17 years in the gym at the Universidad Santo Tomas, 10 years at the Universidad Militar Nueva Granada, and 10 years in Bodytech Gym chains in Bogotá. He has been an exhibitor at fitness conventions in Colombia 2006-2009-2012-2018 at the IDRD fitness festival, a guest at the 2009 Fitness meetings in Venezuela and at fitness conventions in Mexico, 2012-2013-2014 at the Fitness Expo – 2018- Fitness Expo Mexico, the 2017 Cholula Puebla Convention, and the 2019 Femeama Convention in Vallarta.

Nelson Gómez is the CEO of DANZIKA ACADEMY FITNESS, as well as the author and creator of Simultaneous Bilateral Methodologies in group classes, a technique widely used in aerobics and step classes in Colombia.

He is currently the owner of the Body Vibratory fitness studio in Mexico EMS and the Fitness Mexico digital marketing agency. He is the official supplier in Colombia for the gym chains, BODYTECH GYM CMD, and SMART FIT COLOMBIA with the intelligent aerobic training programs Dánzika and Danztep, being part of the class services at the national headquarters.

Nelson Gómez has certified more than 6,456 teachers in Colombia since 2003, more than 90 instructors in Mexico, France, Singapore and the United States, countries where he has his registered trademark.
