Canada is considered the healthiest country in the world

According to WHO reports, Canada is the country where the population is the healthiest, taking into account the following parameters: Blood Pressure, Blood Glucose, Obesity, Depression, Happiness, Alcohol Consumption, Tobacco, Physical Activity, Healthy Life Expectancy, and Public Health Spending.

With these parameters evaluated worldwide, Canada is the one that has the lowest rates of these diseases and harmful consumption, as well as the highest in healthy habits with results such as in the area of physical activity, good nutrition and low public spending on health due to great results in its public policies.

These studies show that on the podium accompanying Canada is Oman and Iceland, while in Latin America we just find Guatemala in 12th place, Honduras No. 13, Ecuador No. 17, Panama No. 18; being the only ones in the top 25 in the world.

Starting in 2024, IIDCA will try to propose various ideas to Latin American countries so that we can reverse our statistics. First of all, we decided through some previous posts, to publicize exemplary policies that improve the lives of its inhabitants by taking exemplary countries in this area that occupy the following positions such as Australia (22), the Netherlands (6), Singapore (7) and Sweden (19), among others.

Why do you think Latin America has few countries in the top 25?
