Urban Walking

Since 2008, URBAN WALKING has been established as one of the main reference websites in Spain, in the dissemination of Nordic walking activity. In addition to the informative activity with abundant technical and opinion articles, various events are promoted, technical stages for instructors, Urban Walking Cup, technical Open, virtual technical and mountain competitions (in COVID times), etc. Since the beginning of the activity, different types of training have been developed, from basic to instructor and specialization training, both in person and online, based on the American methodology FITTREK Nordic Walking (created in 2000).

More than 300 instructors have been trained in the FITTREK method through the action of this school and those of our Master instructors. We currently have our own training platform, integrated into the website and called "Sport & Wellness Virtual Academy" from where our training manager, the only European FITTREK Master Trainer, Mariano Moreno, manages and tutors basic, advanced and specialization online training. in Nordic walking.

We have been members of IIDCA since 2013 and we intend to accompany this institution in this new stage. A mutual collaboration that, without a doubt, will serve to achieve important objectives in the implementation of quality training in health and sports.
